Hello friends and class participants,
In an effort to protect all of you and mitigating the potential spread of the COVID19 virus by suspending large group gatherings, which include on-campus and other UCH location classes, we have found an alternative, whereas you may stay safely in your homes and still have the benefit of attending the Alzheimer’s Caregiver class. The UCH Neurology Memory Disorders Clinic and Summit Resilience Training care deeply about your health, safety and well being, and appreciate your understanding as we wait for the need to halt public gatherings to subside.
Joining the meeting is easy. Once you register below, you will receive the meeting invitation. When the date for the meeting upon us, just click on the https address below join the meeting. If you do not have access to a computer, you can join via phone. Those of you on a computer will be able to see one another, although those via phone will only have audio capability. It is very simple. Most all of you should have a built in microphone and video on your computer, and at the most, you may need to turn up the volume on the lower right corner of your computer.

Jill Lorentz of Summit Resilience Training is proud to partner with the University of Colorado Memory Disorders Clinic to provide the class you have all been looking for! If you have ever wanted to find a positive approach to caregiving, or are a person experiencing memory loss due to Alzheimer’s, Lewy Body or Vascular dementia, this is the hands on guide you have been looking for to help you through this journey.

We use resilience, overcoming obstacles and adversity to find positive outcomes in each and every class. I will teach you how to live well with these diseases and find ways to live with dignity and quality of life. Each month on the first Wednesday, from 1:30 – 3:30p.m. you will find either the beginner class for new diagnosis or just your first time attending, or a continuum class, which will be different every month, so you can continue to grow learning new skills, strategies and techniques.
