The Standford study stated simply the goal was to give Aricept, Namenda and Excelon to people with biomarkers for the Apoe 4 gene and are MCI stage to try these drugs before they have serious symptoms to see if they would stop the progression of the disease. It did not and the study was stopped before it reached clinical trial.
I am non medical and I am not for or against medications. Some people think they help, some don’t it is a personal choice.
